Engagement rumours swirled around Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and her 19-year-old Australian boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, after an outing in L.A. this past Thursday.

Gossip hounds couldn't help but speculate on the sparkly rock the 17-year-old singer/actress was sporting on her left hand. Cyrus' rep was quick to shoot down the rumours, telling people, "Miley's not engaged."

The couple met on the set of her new movie The Last Song.

Cyrus would most likely be too busy to plan a wedding anyway, as she is prepping to film the last season of Hannah Montana.

This isn't the first time that the Disney star has had to fight engagement rumours; she has previously been linked to Justin Gaston and Nick Jonas.
